Public Relations

 

The first time I heard Vicki speak about Pure Joy, I was instantly drawn to the mission of this ministry.

Growing up as an MK, I watched my Mom love and serve along side my Dad, raise six kids, serve the nationals and other missionaries. Mom was also an amazing hostess. I can only imagine if Mom had been able to attend a PJ Retreat how much more she would have had to give.

It is my joy now to serve on the Pure Joy staff sharing the Pure Joy mission as the Public Relations person. My husband, Brian and I, have been married for 40 years. Our 3 younger kids are married, and they and their spouses have blessed us with 6 grandchildren. Our oldest son, Ben, has Down Syndrome. Brian, Ben and I keep our grandchildren a couple days a week, we lead a small group at our church, and we encourage others to live healthy.

My favorite verse is “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23
