JERRE MOORE

Board Member

Jerre and her husband Doug live in Fort Smith, AR. She married her high school sweetheart 54 years ago in Westville, Oklahoma. Jerre enjoys reading, cooking, biking and playing
golf with Doug. They have 3 children and 7 precious grandchildren. They have taught a young adult Sunday School class at East Side Baptist Church for many years. Jerre also has led and served in women's ministry for most of her life. Her greatest joy in ministry is mentoring young women and teaching Bible study. It is her hearts desire to encourage women to find their identity, security and contentment in Christ alone through His Word and prayer.

Pure Joy has been an answer to prayer, of many years, in my life. First, to go on a mission trip and second, to get to do a retreat for missionary women was more than I had 

asked or imagined! I have had the pleasure to serve with PJ in San Juan, CR, Krakow, Poland, Lima, Peru, Prague, CR and most recently, Naples, Italy. 

My life verse is Prov. 3:5-6 and it has served me well all my life as I trust and serve Him.
