Penny has been married to her high school sweetheart, Kevin, for 38 years.  They have two sons, who are married and each have two children.  They live on a 270 acre farm in a 100 year old farmhouse and love it!  They have chickens, the meanest, most beautiful rooster, alive at this moment, named Lucifer, and are looking forward to eventually having cows.

Penny and Kevin are members of Lonoke Baptist Church where they serve and worship with one of the most genuine body of believers they've ever been a part of.

The Lord called Penny to serve on her first Pure Joy Team in 2007. She has served on Pure Joy Retreats in Equador, Venezuela, Israel, Jordan, Uganda, Peru, Czech Republic, Mongolia, Tanzania and Italy in several different capacities.  God used Penny as the photographer on one of the latter trips and showed her a new passion through His eyes!  She currently serves as staff Media for the past two and a half years.

One of her favorite passages of scripture is when Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego are talking to King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3:17-18 and tell him...."If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will rescue us from your hand, O King.  But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O King, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up!"
